Fundraiser 2020 – A Virtual Safari on Zoom
Zoom into Gulu, Uganda and Meet the Aid Africa Staff
November 13th and 14th on Zoom
Be inspired by the wonderful work they are doing:
- Building fuel-efficient stoves
- Distributing thousands of trees from our nursery
- Digging and repairing clean water wells and sheltered springs
We\’ll have pre-recorded presentations (time difference makes it inconvenient to have them live on Zoom) from our staff describing how each of our projects have improved the lives of people in the remote villages around Gulu. After over 15 years we\’ve built and distributed over 65,000 stoves, 200,000 trees and hundreds of sheltered springs and repaired wells.
Live on Zoom you\’ll hear from our US-based board members and staff about the impact of our projects and future opportunities such as birthing kits, water filters and institutional stoves.
What\’s it like to travel to Africa?
You\’ll hear firsthand accounts from our board members and friends who have travelled to Gulu and witnessed the success of our projects. What\’s it like to travel to remote villages, meet the people, help dig a well, plant a tree, assemble a stove in a hut?
